The Coating Kit
One Membrane, Four Prep Paths
Every SkyTight kit contains three things: a cleaner matched to your substrate's failure mode (chalk cutter for EPDM and fiberglass, degreasing prep for TPO and aluminum), an adhesion primer matched to its surface chemistry, and the SkyTight membrane — the same UV-stable flexible topcoat across all four kits, because once the prep is right, rubber is rubber.
Application order never changes: penetrations and fixtures first by brush, seams and transitions second at double build, field last with two rolled or sprayed coats laid in perpendicular passes. On a typical 30-foot roof that is a morning of prep, an hour of detail work, and two field coats separated by the recoat window.
